First-half

Slough faced a confident Sunbury side with their fast forwards – 2 of which are recently recruited Kenyan Internationals and the reason why they scored 5 goals against BA the week before. Slough however worked hard in the midfield and defence to suppress the early threat and gained a number of Short corners through their flowing hockey. Robbie Saini and Mansoor opened the scoring for Slough from well worked  short corner drills. Parminder Bachu who was kindly released by T.H. COLLISON Opticians for the game  paid dividend’s by scoring from an un-stoppable strike.

Second-half

The early part of 2nd haly saw Slough with disciplined passing opening up another chance which Mansoor drilled home from open play. However, with about 15 minutes remaining, and Slough guilty of Slack marking and wayward passing allowed Sunbury to score 3 goals, a score line that did not reflect the game.

Both Robbie Saini and Dilip Davatwal were noted for the work rate.
